CRytoscape: use Cytoscape 2.7 from R via xmlrpc

Software to download and install:
1. Jan Bot's CytoscapeRPC plugin (with a few additions of my own); includes apache xmlrpc libraries: RPC.jar
  Copy this into your Cytoscape/plugins directory, where it will be discovered & loaded the next time you start Cytoscape.
2. Duncan Lang's XMLRPC R package, slighly modified by me: XMLRPC_0.2-13.tar.gz
  once downloaded: R CMD INSTALL XMLRPC_0.2-13.tar.gz
3. The CRytoscape R package: CRytoscape_0.1.9.tar.gz
4. A demonstration R script, a good place to learn how to use this package: source ('http://db.systemsbiology.net:8080/cytoscape/gaggle/test/cy2rpc/public/demo.R')
Start Cytoscape 2.7 Make sure that Cytoscape RPC appears in the Plugins menu. Navigate the Plugin menus until you 'activate' Cytsocape RPC; choose 9000 port number from the popup dialog. The plugin should now be listening for xml-rpc requests on port 9000.

 Start R, and type     
    source ('test.R')
    ping ()   # should return "Connected to Cytoscape on port 9000"
    run.tests ()
