GrAPE(Grid Alignment Processing Environment) is a tool that analyzes microarray quantitation data to determine whether image analysis has been done correctly. It was developed to aid in the high-throughput processing of microarray scan images by verifying accuracy of automated spotfinding without visual inspection

A demonstration is available with a sample set of image analysis output (quantitation) files, showing the web interface and how results are displayed

Source code is available to allow implementation at other organizations. Support for MolecularWare's AnalyzerDG, Packard BioChip's QuantArray and J. Buhler's dapple are already available, and adding additional methods will be relatively easy.
